The Houston Stonewall Young Democrats want to wish our members and the entire community a happy and safe Thanksgiving holiday.

There is a lot to be thankful for this year.  The majority of our municipal candidates won election after a hard-fought election season.  We have to be thankful for the winning spirit of every candidate we endorsed, and those candidates who did not receive our endorsement but who we still consider friends and allies.

While full equality is still in the distance, we must be thankful for the work of committed individuals, elected officials and organizations who stand shoulder-to-shoulder with us at every turn.

Take time this Thanksgiving to appreciate your time with family and friends and take joy in the victories we have achieved over the last year.
